We serve a range of fresh produce from our kitchen, classic botanical cocktails, fine wines and local craft beers at the bar. You can join us for a drink, grab a snack from our in-house menu or dine with us in our lively restaurant.
THE BAR & RESTAURANT
Serving delicious cocktails, a great selection of Kent wines and beers as well as fresh juices, smoothies, Margate made teas and filter coffee.
Made up of three areas, The Pub, keeping the feel of the original old Saloon, this area feels intimate and warm with logs by the fireplace and hanging Kentish hops. The bar itself sits in the same position it stood 300 years ago and the old Cobbs stained glass windows are still intact.
Our lively Restaurant is an informal space with comfort in mind. Seating 45 covers its always best to book ahead to avoid disappointment.
‘Barrys’ Nook is the perfect space for groups of up to 30 for drinks, 18 for dining or a great little spot for couples to hideaway! The Nook leads onto the courtyard where guests will be able to sit back and enjoy a little peace and quiet away from the crowds.

We offer an evolving seasonal menu with a focus on Kent produce. A simple, fresh and local affair supporting British farmers and artisan producers. Whether you’re dining with us from our in-house menu or joining us for The Roast on Sundays, expect great produce served in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

THE SUNDAY ROAST
Sundays are a day for feasting so get involved in our traditional Sunday Roast served with all the trimmings, we offer meat options, vegetarian and do a mean Vegan Roast.
Served all day and accompanied by Bloody Mary’s to get you going and Espresso Martinis to finish you off!
Make sure you save room for dessert, our locally made sourced vegan cheesecakes are not to be missed!
Served between 12pm - 7pm every Sunday

REGGIES
Our Heart House guests will have exclusive access to Reggie’s, our private mini bar. Named after Kelly’s Grandad Reginald Leslie Perrin, it has been designed with the very same drinks cabinet dear Reggie poured himself a little evening tipple everyday for the past 53 years until the ripe old age of 93. The cabinet itself has been given a little makeover by the lovely Burley & Field boys making it fit perfectly into its new surroundings.
The room is small and wonky with lots of charm with a cute view down Love Lane in Margates’ Old Town. Perfect for a spot of people watching.
Help yourself to complementary tea, coffee, biscuits and cereals and enjoy our amnesty bar for afternoon cocktails or a late night tipple. The only place to start your day and end your night.
24/7 access but please respect other guests at all times.
ABOUT YOUR BOOKING
Advanced bookings for our restaurant are preferred using our online booking platform Resy but walk in’s are always welcome! No need to reserve if you’re just coming for a drink.
