Our six rooms and 2 bedroom Heritage Suite are individually designed each with there own special character whilst reflecting the overall essence of The George & Heart House. All rooms have access to our private Stables Courtyard Garden and upstairs guests can enjoy Reggie’s Bar whilst helping themselves to complementary tea, coffee, biscuits and a night tipple from our amnesty bar. Our Zen Den is also available for our guests to use throughout their stay for yoga or meditation when treatments are not in process.
We aim for guests to feel like one big family during their stay whilst enjoying the privacy of their own space.
THE HIDEAWAY
This room has a freestanding bath at the foot of your four poster bed. Golden drapes and cozy bedspreads make the room comfortable and luxurious. The perfect setting for a little escape and a hideaway whilst enjoying classic Margate and all it has to offer.
As our Master Bedroom it has nods to the past with the headboard up-cycled from the original main bar.

BURLEY and FIELD

THE SNUG
The Snug is our smallest but most perfectly formed double room. Wooden cladded liking to a Margate beach hut its small and cosy, the perfect crash pad for your stay in Margate.

POODLE & BLONDE
This room is full of 70’s seaside chic with warm tones and original hand designed wallpaper, all by Poodle & Blonde of course. Mint green tiles clad the walls of the walk in shower, complementing the rust toned wash basin completing this charming and room making it a holiday of dreams by the sea.

HOME ALONE WITH MRS JONES
Originally inspired by Biba imagery lots of black and gold, this room is decadent with a 70s take on art deco style. Gold mosaic tiles and black fringing make for an intimate shower experience. This room boasts a garden view looking into the old Stables Courtyard.

THE HERITAGE SUITE
A luxury 2 bed suite is located on the 2nd floor of our Grade 2 listed building dating back to the 18th century. This old coaching inn sleeps 4 and has been restored in keeping with the heritage of the building.
Coral velvet, venetian plaster and shell chandeliers are all part of its charm. The master bedroom overlooks The Stables Courtyard garden whilst the twin boasts a roll top bath.

Our cleaning products are eco-friendly, even the toilet paper is made of virgin bamboo pulp! Our linen is made of the finest organic cotton with coconut buttons and bamboo toppers on a memory foam mattress. We provide natural and chemical free toiletries for your stay.
